Jelly Roll

You will need:
  • Two contrasting colours of Modelene
  • A pasta roller, straight sided glass or acrylic roller
  • Blade

Take the two contrasting colours and roll out rectangular sheets of each colour. Stack the sheets, gently pressing to remove any air bubbles. Trim edges and slightly flatten sheets at one end to facilitate rolling. Decide which colour you want on top and then roll the stack to form a tube.

Variation #1

Stack sheets as before and roll through the pasta machine(or use glass or roller). Fold in half, then roll up as before from folded side. See Fig 4. for end result.

Fig 1.

Variation #2

Stack sheets and roll as in Var #2. Instead of folding this rectangle in half as before, roll sheets into tube. See Fig 4 for end result.
